Clifford owned by Lizzie and James Saunders Watson gave a great account of himself at Gatcombe. Having won a competitive regional final at Little Downham I was looking forward to competing at the championship.
Clifford posted a score of 30 which left us in the top 10, but unfortunately rolled two poles due to the undulations, which had been very influential. The XC as we had thought was strong, and Clifford made it feel well within his capabilities to finish with just 1.6 time pens. He finished just outside the top 10. I am very grateful to the Saunders Watson family for their continued support with Clifford.
