We had a successful trip to Alnwick Ford taking four horses.
De Pleasure started our campaign in the CCI2*-S and put in a wonderful test to score 28.9, and lying in third overnight. We had one unfortunate pole after a trip coming into the double but a lovely clear cross country allowed us to finish in 10th! He is proving to be a very promising six year-old.
I had three horses campaigning in the Intermediate. First timer Idonna W produced a beautiful steady double clear to add a few time penalties onto her. dressage of 30.7, leaving her in 7th.
Cody had another educational round to finish 7th with a dressage of 23.6, clear showjumping and a little green moment cross country.
Clifford was the star of the show and produced a dressage of 28 and a beautiful double clear to finish 2nd, just 0.1 behind the winner.
An educational and successful weekend with all horses placing in the top 10!
