Early June continued to move at a fast pace with a trip to Longines Luhmuhlen, Germany to compete at the CCI5*L with the amazing Dick O Malley owned by the Flint Syndicate.
Despite being very green at the higher level test movements, it was still all to play for with a very tough XC to come. Flint gave me in parts an amazing ride, showing that this level is well within his capabilities…but it was clear that he was not on his usual top form.
We have come home from Luhmuhlen and Flint had his routine care from our home team and vets. Really sadly he will miss the rest of the season through a small injury. With the welfare of the horses always coming first he will have all the care that he needs to get him back competing as soon he is fit again.
