We have been extremely busy competing, with some lovely results from all the horses which is a testament to my team of staff at home and my owners.
Norton Disney was a successful event for the youngsters, we had 3 lovely 5yos – Ramonda, Othello, and Codebreaker. Codebreaker put in a very confident performance to finish 2nd in his first 100. Ramonda was competing his first BE90 in which he did a beautiful dressage and clear SJ but found some demons at the jump on approaching the water – young horses! Othello behaved beautifully having two uncharacteristic poles but a good clear xc.
Burnham Market was a fantastic event for us with Clifford winning the Novice, and he currently leads the TriStar league for Novice horses. Oakbank Ultimate Illusion did a cheeky dressage test but followed this up with a cracking double clear which I was very pleased with. He now heads for a spring 2* at Chatsworth, with Clifford aiming for Rockingham 2*.
