All the horses are back in work and we are making the most of the varied Leicestershire terrain, lots of slow road work building them up for the season ahead which ever way we go there are lots of great hills.
I have some really exciting new horses that have joined the team, and I look forward to getting to know them and their respective owners as the year unfolds.
14.2hh, Hugo (Red Rock) owned by The Salwey family has gone home to Shropshire to start his eventing journey with Ottie. It has been so fun to be involved in sourcing and starting him off…. we wish them HUGE luck and success.
SJL Convince Me, Dunny One, and Rich Mistique K have been in work all winter and are looking amazing – they have enjoyed BS, and a variety of work, training etc.
We have enjoyed good trips to Somerford Park and Aston le Walls XC schooling.
I have enjoyed some great days hunting with different Leicestershire packs (Fernie, Cottesmore, Quorn, Belvoir) during the winter great for my fitness/ reactions as well as social.
Now looking forward to the season and hoping that all the hard work, training and preparations pay off in the coming weeks.
