MeetEliza Stoddart
Eliza, an event rider to watch - currently competing Internationally up to 5* level.
Building on some decent form in 2019 with her First Event Riders Masters debut at Chatsworth and team bronze at the Nations Cup at Houghton Hall.
Eliza is the first to rider to win back to back five year old National Eventing titles at the Young Horse Championships. An accolade she won in 2019 with Codebreaker, and following this with De Pleasure in 2020. She was also the winner of the 2020 Nexgen 6yo Eventing Championships at Hickstead with Codebreaker.
She has built on her early success and has spent time learning her trade from Tim and Antonia Brown, and Pippa Funnell.
Former Pony European silver medal winner, U18 National Eventing champion, and Young Rider squad member. Eliza set up her own business in 2016, and has established a quality team of horses and owners which she hopes will enable her to achieve her goal of representing her country in future teams.
Eliza offers clients short or long term packages to prepare young or established horses for Eventing or Dressage, having qualified horses for the National Championships in both disciplines.
Eliza has great family support, a hardworking team at home, and a network of contacts. She primarily trains with Caroline Moore, Chris Bartle, and Ian Woodhead. Her yard near Market Harborough is located in the heart of the quiet Leicestershire countryside, the ideal place to produce youngstock and train top level event horses.
